Six cubs ventured off to the Zoo last Saturday for a fun day at Baloo’s picnic. Akela went along to make sure our cubs found their way. Even though the day started off drizzly everyone had fun. Thanks to Akela and to Michael for helping out and making sure our cubs had fun.
Welcome to Natan Meydan our newest Cub. Tonight at Waves he celebrated his going up from Joeys to Cubs by swimming 25 metres. Symbolically swimming away from Joeys and towards the fun of Cubs. Welcome Nate to the next fun section of Scouting.
Thank you to Gary, Tristan and Ari for leading a great weekend camp at Bay Park this weekend. The mums, scouts and 10 year old cubs had a great experience and a fun weekend. Although I could hear the collective sigh of relief from the mums when finding their own beds on Sunday night!
What a beautiful bay ride we had last night. All Scouts, leaders and parents met at the end of North road for a 2 hour ride into Port Melbourne and back. The weather was a perfect 23 degrees and no wind at all. Spectacular.

10th Caulfield scouts and parents helped run the BBQ at Caulfield South Primary School’s recent fete. The weather was hot and dusty and the BBQ stall was slammed at lunch time but we did prevail. Thanks to the parents and scouts who signed up for the roster and came on the day to help.
