Dear Parents, Leaders, Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers,
We are near the close of yet another year at 10th Caulfield. Our final Group event for 2014 is a Group Break-Up Picnic lunch followed by our Annual Reports and Award Presentations (ARAP).
This is an opportunity for the Cubs, Scouts and Venturers to be recognised for the efforts and successes they have enjoyed over the year. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend to make the day a great success and show appreciation to the Leaders and the other members of our Group.
Rovers will be in attendance to run games to keep our scouts, cubs and joeys entertained during the ARAP reports.
Who: ALL Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers and at least one parent per family
When: Sunday 7th December, 2014
Where: Foch Street Scout Hall, Ormond. (At the end of Foch street near the train line)
What/ Time: Picnic: 12.00pm – 1pm (canelled)
ARAP: 1pm – 2:30pm
Dress: All Cubs, Scouts, Venturers & Leaders in full uniform Bring *: BYO food picnic style (folding chairs/blanket, eating utensils etc.)
The afternoon will be dedicated to awards that acknowledge and reward individual achievements by our Cubs and Scouts (Note: awards will be made only where the receiving Cub or Scout is in attendance). If you are unable to attend please discuss this matter with your group leaders Gavin Arndt or Jeremy King ahead of the day. (email groupleader@10thcaulfieldscouts.org.au)
The ARAP incorporates the Annual Report, which will provide you with an insight into 10th Caulfield Scout Group. The Cubs and Scouts will be ‘entertained’ in the adjoining park by some of our Leaders whilst the reports are being tabled.
Please RSVP via this web form no later than Tuesday 2nd December for Joeys, Cubs and Scouts.
