We are having a special Bike Ride Night on Thursday 19th February (bad weather depending. See below).
The aim of the ride is to promote bike & road safety whilst enjoying what we have left of daylight savings. Parents are more than welcome to ride but please contact Gary.
Each Scout is required to bring the following:
Bike Helmet (No Helmet – No Ride!)
Front & rear lights on all bikes. All lights MUST be working with good batteries. We will only be riding on the bike paths along the beach but we need to be seen after dark. Please don’t leave it till the night before to purchase or check your lights, do it NOW!
Drink container (re-sealable) full of cold water or Gatorade. No fizzy drinks allowed
Puncture Kit & Pump
We are hoping to ride to Station Pier. This will be a fabulous night with all of us enjoying
the great outdoors. We will not be riding on the road, just the bike paths.
IF IT IS BAD WEATHER, WE WILL MEET AT THE MILLERS STREET SCOUT HALL FOR A REGULAR MEETING THIS CAN BE CONFIRMED BY CONTACTING GARY ON 0418 393 394.
