What is the New Zealand Jamboree
New Zealand Jamborees are a great opportunity for a first time overseas Scouting experience, the activity program is different in some ways, the size of the site is smaller making it easier to move around and catch up with new friends and the numbers are around 4000 participants. Jamboree troops may be managed differently than what you would be used to at an Australian Jamboree.
Every Scout attending NZ21 will have the opportunity to participate in activities on the ground, in the water and in the air.
Where will he Jamboree Be Held?
The Jamboree will be held at Giesen Sports & Events Centre in Renwich South Island New Zealand
who can attend
Scouts who haven’t had their 15th birthday by the 26th of December 2016 (scouts under 12 will be approved by the Welfare Team Leader)
venturers must be 16 years of age and have not had their 18th birthday by 26 December 2016.
Rover’s / Leaders and Adults must have a valid working with children/vulnerable people card issued within their state/territory
