The big question for 2015’s Fantastic Race is “where will it go this year”. 2015 is the 10 Year anniversary of the Glen Eira Stonnington Fantastic Race and in previous years we have visited places like Eureka Tower, Docklands Stadium, the Sorrento/Queenscliff Ferry, MSAC, Ballarat and many other places. One thing is certain, this year’s race will be different but just as much (if not more) fun!
The start & finish location is the GES District Scout Hall at Foch Street, Ormond.
Scouts will be travelling in Patrols and using public transport throughout the day on Saturday and Leaders will be at numerous locations throughout the Journey & Course.
Uniform is NOT to be worn but scarf IS required. We will also be visiting the… woops, nearly let it slip.
We’ll all be staying somewhere unusual on Saturday night and going someplace special on Sunday. If any parents have a safety concern, please contact me so I can put your mind at ease. More info is on the official website http://www.moorabbinscoutgroup.net/tfr/
We will need parents to help the Leaders at our secret location between 9am and approx. 5pm on Saturday so please indicate your availability on the reply.
As with past years, there is a limit on numbers so it is most important to get your reply back BY THE DUE DATE as our Troop payment is due on 20th July.
The 2014 race involved approx. 250 Scouts from across the state and will continue to grow in 2015
