Snake spotted last night at Cubs

Cubs were learning about caring for different animals, and about the animals in The Jungle Book, so Scout Aiden King and Assistant GL Jeremy King brought their pet “Spot” to Cubs for a visit.  Spot is a 2.5 metre diamond python native to New South Wales.  Cubs learned interesting facts about what pythons eat (Ewwww! Dead rats!!), where they live, how they are safely handled, and how often they go to the toilet!  All of the Cubs (and one intrepid Bagheera) then got the opportunity to hold Spot and give him a pat.  Everyone was very brave, and Spot was very well-behaved.

A big WOOF to Aiden and Jeremy for coming down with Spot.
