Venturers Can Shoot

Our Venturers went pistol shooting tonight! This very original outing happened at Apex Shooting Club in a reinforced concrete bunker in Dandenong. Firstly we listened to a safety briefing which explained the anatomy of a bullet/round then on the basics of firing a handgun.

We then donned (love that word) ear and eye protection and descended into the bunker to shoot some round, Dirty Harry style.  We got to shoot 3 styles of pistol including a ole Western style 6-shooter.

Venturers know how to have some serious (and a little more grown up) fun!
